Oprah and Mandy went to the spa today for a well deserved new hair do.....

On the other hand, Mandy is a model.....

 



It is going to cool off here in Phoenix and we will be getting rain tomorrow.  NASCAR is in Phoenix this weekend but I am not sure they will be racing due to the weather.

Not much else has been going on around here so not much to write about.....

Long time no blog~~~~~

Guess I didn't realize it's been so long......when you're having fun time flies they say.  Right?

No pictures taken lately either.  We have just been hanging out in the beautiful 80 degree Phoenix weather.  Unfortunately, Iowa has been hit with yet another storm but a warm up has started so this is a good thing.

One of the things we have been doing is looking at property with our daughter.  She is a vet tech here in Arizona and has applied for a her non-profit status which is part of the beginning stages of fulfilling a dream of her own rescue.  I will be adding the link for anyone who would like to have more information in hopes she will receive even more donations to help her get things started.

Her Rusty's Angels Sanctuary is not unlike any other sanctuary in that she will be taking in dogs who need rescuing.  Rusty's Angels Sanctuary is a rescue devoted to the senior canines.  This place will be a resting place for pups to live out the rest of their lives in the total comfort of a home like they are used to....along with the loving care they deserve.

Please do what you can to support this very worthy cause.  She is committed to making this dream come true.  Read her stories and you will realize what it means to her.

Back in Phoenix~~~~~

At the Royal Palms RV Resort....

Here is my patio view.

 

The hot tub and pool are very nice.

The place is huge so I don't have to go out of the park for my daily walk/run.

 

Last night Emilee surprised us after she got off of work and ended up staying for supper.

Tonight she is picking me up for a shopping spree at a BIG farmers market she says is really a good one and priced right.

 

More news later.....but one thing is for sure we are happy to be back in Phoenix and only a few miles from Emilee's home.

Back in Wickenburg Arizona~~~~~

Such a neat little town.  We just took a walk downtown and had a really nice lunch too.  Tomorrow we head back into Phoenix but we will be staying at a different park this time.  It is called Royal Palms RV Resort with over 300 spots so it is a pretty good size place.  The pool and spa look really nice and the park is big enough for a good run with the pups.  We will be staying for approx. a month then start our trek back to Iowa for some family time. :)

Another farmers market~~~~~

Better then the first one......




 

$40.00 and Suzanne with Husiana Farmers Market was so friendly and treated us to lots of her homemade sauces and jams! We didn't need to have lunch thanks to her!  The kale she cut fresh from the garden for me....made me miss my garden on Edgewater Beach!!!


We are heading back towards Phoenix today.  It is raining again so we decided to cut our time short here on the Pacific.  We are looking forward to start our trek back up and over the mountains.

Pismo Village RV Resort has been a wonderful experience......and we are sure we will at some point come back.

Back to the Farmers Market~~~~~

Looking forward to visiting the wonderful market we found the other day.  Woohoo another short road trip this afternoon...

More news later...

The market was closed.  But we found another one with everything you could possibly want or need.  Just have a look at the pictures.  We ended up with a roasted whole chicken, some edamame quinoa salad, some pot stickers and egg rolls.  Not only that but several different fruit choices as well.  Oh one other thing I didn't realize Craig also picked up was two chocolate chunk cookies.  :)
