Happy New Year~~~~~

To all our family and friends....

Today I went to work with Emilee so she could do some inventory.  What a great place to work....I saw a few surgeries and watched some very busy volunteers.  I look forward to my turn as a volunteer next week.

Tonight we are going to Rum Runners, the place Em used to be a bartender.  Debi is having a big celebration with food and drink specials along with Karoke.  This should be a fun evening.

Emilee and I just finished a 2.56 mile run in 34 minutes.  It felt good to get out and get some exercise.  Craig worked out while we worked this am.  Now he just took off for a 10 mile bike ride.

Chicken Divan and Company~~~~~

Emilee had two of her co-workers come for supper last night....Dr. Channing, the head vet of AAWL and Victoria, the Clinic Manager of the public clinic.  Emilee is the Clinic Manager of the AAWL/SPCA.  They were to meet to go over their 2013 budget.  But we had such a great time visiting they didn't get to much talk about the budget.

At Em's request, I made chicken divan, salad and garlic bread.  It turned out and everyone enjoyed dinner and great conversation.  Not much budget talk but they have time to get that done.  It was really nice to meet two of Emilee's co-workers.  I look forward to volunteering at the clinic while I am here.

Today we are planning a couple of massages but Emilee just called and doesn't feel good so I hope it isn't that awful cold that I had.  I had some meds so got those into her and back to bed she went.  Other then that, we may just lay low today depending how she feels after waking.

Craig and I may make a run to Walmart for a few supplies to finish up some other honey dos to be done here.

Merry Christmas~~~~~

Well it has been few days since we celebrated with Emilee.  But the blog has not been running properly so hopefully this post with publish.  Santa was good to all of us and we have been having a grand time here in Phoenix.  Last night we went to a place called Hula and it was sooo good.  I had a Ahi tuna bowl, Emilee had a Calamari sandwich and sweet potato fries and Craig had pot stickers and salad.  We had Ahi tuna wontons and Edamame for apps.  Tonight I am cooking and we are chilling.  Today we are going to work on the back yard.  Yesterday honey dos were done including the hanging of the new ceiling fan/light Emilee had purchased.  It looks soooo nice in her kitchen.

Roswell, NM~~~~~

Where the aliens landed......what a tourist trap this could be but fun to check out.  We are at Trailer Village in a nice spot but the sand burrs are a pain for the puppies for sure.  We will fuel up tomorrow am before heading into Benson, AZ tomorrow.  We had another uneventful day of driving.  We had a quick supper of enchiladas and salads.  They were yummy.  We are now relaxing with a few cocktails and a movie.

We will be moving into Arizona tomorrow which makes us happy.

Ahhhh Western Star RV Park - Liberal, KS

We have landed.  We had another uneventful day of travel today.  I am in the process of making our supper of cheese burgers, homemade hashbrowns and salads.  Dessert is strawberry pretzel salad.  We love our home on wheels... as it has all the comforts of home and then some.

We will relax this evening...but Craig is heading over the their new hot tub.  Not me...I plan to relax with some TV and/or reading.  Mom I forgot to get that book from you...darn.

Our Christmas adventure~~~~~

We are heading to Phoenix again this year and have just completed our first leg of our trip.  We have landed at Ozark Prairie RV Park in Nevada, MO.  Nice small park for an over nighter.  Our next leg will take us into to Liberal, KS at a place called Western Star RV Park.  Stayed there last year and really liked it.  It will be a long day crossing Kansas.

I will plan another post tomorrow night.  Soooo until then....
